Mr. Edwards, key Engineer for Dozier and Dozier Construction, Inc., was responsible for Civil Engineering designs on the construction of this school as part of the Miami-Dade County Middle School expansion projects. The scope of services included:
- Design of on-site sanitary sewer and lateral connections
- Water Main extension
- Parking lot and roadway infrastructure expansion
- Storm water modeling, drainage design & environmental resource permit application
- Department of Environmental Resources Management
- Miami-Dade County Water and Sewer Department
- Florida Department of Transportation
- Health Department
- City of Miami
The implementation of the civil engineering designs involved extensive coordination with city officials and community groups to achieve consensus on infrastructural issues.
